It’s all Rainbows and Butterflies this week

Missing boy

In Dunston, Gateshead, 9-year old Josh Dinning was reported missing to the authorities when his mother went to get him up for school and found his bed empty. The last time he was seen was at 9:30pm the previous night when he had been tucked into bed.

After a huge 3-hour police search and rescue operation had been launched to find him (helicopters, sniff dogs, the whole 9 yards), who’d never guess where they found him. Josh was hiding under his bed. His reason, he was trying to get out of school for the day. Apparently, his room had been searched while he was hiding and he feared to come out in case he got a good shouting.
